An incredibly beautiful card set with rich interpretations of the traditional Lenormand card motifs. The cards have golden edges and come in a beautiful box with a magnetic closure with space for the thorough guidebook in Danish with detailed texts about each card and several suggestions for exciting presentations with the cards.
Lenormand is a tradition that goes back to the French map reader Marie Anne Lenormand (1772-1843). There are relatively few cards with simple symbols in a Lenormand deck. On the other hand, you put more cards in a reading, and the combination and order of the cards thus gives a greater and deeper meaning.
The accompanying Danish guidebook provides a thorough introduction to this slightly different way of reading maps.
Traditionally, there are 36 cards in a Lenormand deck. In this beautiful card set there are 11 extra cards which can be used or omitted according to taste and preference.
