My thoughts on the Gratitude Diary
It's amazing to think that it's now been more than 7 years since I printed the first version of the gratitude journal. Time has flown by, and along the way the book has evolved through three different versions.
In time, I have had the pleasure and privilege of sending out over thousands of copies to happy customers. The beige book you see now represents the third version of the book that I proudly launched in early 2021.
It really warms my heart every time I receive the many nice words and feedback about how this book has made a positive difference in people's lives.
If you are also looking for a simple and positive change in your everyday life, it may be that the diary is exactly what you have been looking for. I use it myself every single day, and it contributes a pleasant moment of reflection in my daily routine.

Gratitude is especially rewarding in those periods when life can be difficult and when we find it difficult to see all the good that is there. Sometimes we have to start with the more basic things, such as; that we have a bed to sleep in, food on the table, that our two eyes opened this morning when we woke up. When we remember all the things we normally take for granted, it becomes easier to find a lot of extra good, to be happy about.
What does it mean to be grateful?
Being grateful is appreciating and acknowledging the good things in life, big and small, and carrying them with you as sources of joy and strength. It's reminding ourselves that even if we're not millionaires or life is one hundred percent what we want it to be, that we already have a lot of wonderful things, people, moments and memories to be thankful for.

Being grateful enriches one's mind and soul, creates a deeper connection to the joys of life, and strengthens our ability to appreciate the small, precious moments that make each day unique.
In addition to that, studies have also shown that it increases our physical and mental well-being, lowers stress, increases calmness and well-being and much, much more. So there are plenty of good reasons to make gratitude a part of your practice.
