Mary Magdalene oil
I am so happy and proud to have this oil in stock. Ever since I worked at the wonderful spiritual bookstore Soul Books and first came across it, I have been so happy with this oil. It simply can do something that other oils can't!
The Bible's recipe
Mary Magdalene The oil and salve mentioned in the Bible are now available. According to tradition, they were used by Mary Magdalene to anoint Jesus' feet and had both honoring and purifying effects. Through intense study of the Bible and other sources, Lars Muhl in collaboration with Nils Erik Aamann Christensen has succeeded in restoring the oil and the ointment. They can be used in spirituality and therapy, and are recommended for use only on a few chakras at a time or in connection with sessions, retreats or therapeutic courses. To use the oil, it is recommended to sit in a comfortable position, breathe deeply and locate the area where the discomfort/disease is concentrated, then you can apply the ointment gently on this area.
Ayurvedic philosophy
Maria Magdalene products are based on the Ayurvedic philosophy, which uses herbs and oils to improve the body's health and reduce imbalances in the body's energy system. Their composition comes from an original recipe used by therapists in Alexandria 2000 years ago. This recipe is found in the scriptures that form the basis of the Old Testament and are translated from Aramaic. The most important oils included in both Maria Magdalene Oil and Balm are Frankincense, Myrrh and Spikenard, which date back to the time when Mary Magdalene lived. She was one of the great healers of the time and worked with oils, herbs, light and sound in her ritual healing treatments. Mary Magdalene represents the feminine energy and is associated with both inner and outer beauty and aesthetics.
Behind the oil
The author and mystic Lars Muhl is behind the development of the Maria Magdalene products. Through intensive study of the Bible, the apocryphal writings and other sources, he has managed to restore the original oil and balm in collaboration with Niels Erik Aamand. The project of making Mary Magdalene oil from the original recipe took over a year and involved many trials to match the original recipe as accurately as possible. So it turned into a partially intuitive work, where approx. 30-50 new samples per week, to match the original recipe as precisely as possible.
Charlotte Kasandra, the founder of SARDkopenhagen, has subsequently worked with the products to adapt their aesthetics to today's standards. The scents of the oils have been adapted to appeal to today's tastes or rather 'nose', while maintaining their high efficiency. Mary Magdalene oil was used by therapists in their rituals and treatments and consists of Frankincense, Myrrh and Spikenard oils which represent the divine trinity in the Caduceus symbol.
