Chakra Sage

The word "chakra" comes from the ancient Indian language Sanskrit and means "wheel". According to the ancient healing traditions, every human being has seven important chakras or centers of energy that emit and absorb good and bad energies. It is important to have balance in the energies to have balance in body, mind and spirit.

Muladhara - Chakra 1 (red)

Swadhishthana - Chakra 2 (orange)

Manipura - Chakra 3 (yellow)

Anahata - Chakra 4 (green)

Vishudda - Chakra 5 (blue)

Ajna - Chakra 6 (indigo)

Sahasrara - Chakra 7 (purple/white)

Sometimes we can be enveloped in the energy that others leave behind in a room, even after they have left. Sage acts as a sort of "energy cleansing soap" that clears the room, removes negativity and is even said to lift the mood.

Light one end of the bundle. Let the flames take hold and then blow it out. When you are finished, you can press your bundle against fireproof material, such as stone, seashell , or the like to extinguish it.

Sage has been used for thousands of years to clean out the energy and make room for new, lovely and good energy. So it can be used to clean both home, office, ourselves (outside the body, at a safe distance so we are not hit by the embers) and wherever else we need to clean out and reset the energy. Remember to open your windows when you clean out, so that the heavy energy and the smoke can escape.

This bundle can be used over and over again, and will last for many months as only a little bit needs to be used at a time.
